Concessionaire: Mirzapur Ghazipur STPs Private Limited (MGSPL) is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) established to act as the Concessionaire, to design, finance, renovate/build, operate and maintain multiple sewage treatment plants (STPs) and its associated infrastructure in the city of Mirzapur & Ghazipur, Uttar–Pradesh (UP). The STPs are being developed/ renovated through a hybrid annuity model (HAM) under the ‘Namami Gange programme’ on a Public Private Partnership (PPP) basis.
MGSPL form by M/s. EMS Infracon Private Limited, India and Ercole Marelli Impianti technology. s.r.l (EMIT) Group, Italy). MGSPL has won the bid for for development of Sewage Treatment Plant of 2 Nos 8.5 MLD at Mirzapur and 21 MLD at Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh under Hybrid Annuity PPP mode and entered into a concession agreement (CA) with NMCG and Jal Nigam on June 24, 2021.
